EXPERTISE

I have prepared appraisals for IRS estate settlements, probates and dissolutions.  I have had my deposition taken and qualified as an expert witness before various divisions of the Superior Court of the State of California, San Mateo County and Los Angeles County, in connection with the valuation of real estate in San Mateo County and Professional Standard of Care for licensees in real estate transactions.  I am an instructor at Anthony Schools of the San Francisco Peninsula for Real Estate Practices and Brokerage Management.

I have been a top-producing agent with Dolphin Real Estate, all offices, since 1988.  I have been in the top 10% in closed sales active in our entire association of Realtors every year since 1988.  In 2000, I ranked in the top 100 agents, among 100,000+ agents from 63 countries around the world in the RE/MAX International system. I was inducted into the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame in 1993, and was awarded the RE/MAX International Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.

The nature of my practice has enabled me to expertly guide clients, both as an agent and as a consultant, through the complex maze of regulations within San Mateo County. I have extensive experience regarding land use, building, sub-division, density credit transfers, lot line adjustments and parcel legalization, both in and out of the San Mateo County Coastal zone, specifically with rural ranch and farmland.

I have been appointed to and served on a variety of San Mateo County Board of Supervisor Task Forces, including rewriting the septic ordinances, water well ordinances and horse keeping and stable ordinances.  I regularly make presentations on behalf of clients before the San Mateo County Planning Commission and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, where I have also been solicited for expert advice regarding real estate issues before these bodies.

San Mateo County, with headquarters located in the City of San Mateo. I specialize in the marketing and acquisition of exceptional single family residential, farm, rural and horse properties throughout San Mateo County.  By consulting contract, I have conducted searches and acquisitions of ranch, income and investment properties in the Bay area, Central and Northern California.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Originally from Central California, moved to the Bay area in 1968, to attend the University of San Francisco. Currently reside in Pescadero, where my wife, Carolyn, and I raise and train pleasure-driving horses on our ranch and maintain a large organic garden.
